Description
Stratford High School is looking for Color Guard instructor(s) for the 2025-2026 season. Responsibilities would include band camp, weekly rehearsals, some football games (instructor attendance only through halftime), and competitions. There is also a color guard class at the end of our school day that includes a salary stipend, if the instructor(s) are able to take on this additional responsibility. The candidates would also have the opportunity to direct our Winter Guard program in the spring. Salary will be based on experience. We would love to have the new instructors come for our Spring Camp dates (May 15th, 19th, 20th, and 22nd) to work with the outgoing instructors for a smooth transition to next season. Directors and colleagues, please pass this along to any former students and colleagues you think might be interested in joining our team. Stratford High Schools Marching Band most recently placed 7th in class 6A for marching band championships and our Winter Guard team has placed 3rd the past two years at CWEA championships and were promoted during the 2025 season and still medaled.
