Description
The Batesburg Leesville HS Panther Band is looking for a Colorguard Director for the 2024 season. Our current director will be with us through band camp, we are looking for someone to take over once our camp has concluded. Any potential candidate would be responsible for providing instruction to our students and overseeing all aspects of the colorguard program. Any candidate who could write colorguard choreography would be compensated for the design as well as days of instruction. Our typical after school rehearsals are Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 3:45pm-7pm. The week of September 23-27 we will have daily rehearsals from 9am-3pm. We will do four competitions this year. The potential candidate will also have the opportunity to run our Winterguard program which was the CWEA Scholastic Regional A Champions this last season. Financial compensation will be based on experience. We would prefer someone at least 21 years old and experience working with a Colorguard program. However these are not mandatory.
