Description
Newberry College is looking for an experienced color guard instructor for the upcoming fall semester to join the Scarlet Spirit Marching Band staff. This position is staff position only and will be a fall semester job only. The start date will be mid-July with planning and prep work. The 1st day of guard camp will be Aug. 5th, 2024. The last require performance will be Nov. 16th, 2024. Come be a part of the rapid growing Scarlet Spirit Marching Band. It is a great time to get involved with our college marching band as we are one of the fastest growing college marching bands in SC.
Requirements
Instruct our color guard members throughout the season as well and make up the flag routine and choreography for the halftime show and pregame. Must be able to be present for all rehearsals (M & W - 5-7 PM and Fri. 4:30-5:30 PM) and all seven home games from 9/7 through 11/16.
