Description
We are looking to grow our band family at Dutch Fork High School and seek highly motivated team players to help us get even better.
Requirements
General Requirements:
✅ Must be at least 18 years old.
✅ Background in music, marching, or related performance arts.
✅ Ability to work with students of varying skill levels.
✅ Availability for rehearsals, performances, and band camp.
✅ Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✅ Ability to pass a background check (if required).
Preferred Qualifications:
🎵 Experience in a competitive marching band or drum corps.
🎵 Prior teaching or instructional experience in music, marching, or visual design.
🎵 Knowledge of drill writing, music arranging, or color guard choreography.
🎵 Ability to play and teach specific instruments (brass, woodwinds, percussion).
🎵 Experience with leadership training and student mentorship.
🎵 Familiarity with marching band software (Pyware, Finale, Mainstage, UDB, etc.).
🎵 First Aid/CPR certification.
