Once again you are invited to nominate your students for a chance to participate in this incredible opportunity hosted by Limestone College, The High School Honor Band Clinic!
(Thursday, January 31st-Saturday, February 2nd)
Our guest clinician this year is DR. SEAN P. MURRAY, Associate Professor of Music and Director of Bands at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His responsibilities include directing the UAB “Marching Blazers,”University Wind Symphony, teaching undergraduate classes in conducting and music education, and coordinating all aspects of UAB’s comprehensive university bands program.
To be eligible for consideration, student nominees must be:

Currently enrolled in grades 9-12

Recommended by their Director
Available for the entire clinic event; no requested absence will be approved.

Nominees must be listed in order of their performance skills, with the strongest player listed first.
The Limestone College High School Honor Bands Clinic is designed for the more proficient and experienced instrumentalists. It is assumed director will nominate his/her most capable players. We guarantee that we will accept a minimum of two students from every school provided the nomination form includes at least one brass and one woodwind player, and the form is received on or before December 1st. Nominations that arrive after December 1st will be considered only if there is a need for additional personnel to balance instrumentation.
