Public Relations Committee Jerry Gatch, Chairman The South Carolina Band Directors Association is currently planning an ambitious campaign to champion the cause of Instrumental Music Education. Plans are being made to mount a unique and unprecedented public relations effort to inform the public of the effect that music education has on the development of children and ultimately on society itself. |

Things Directors can do now!
1. Create an "Alumni Association" in order to build
a state wide data base of people that were in SC band programs.
2. Band Booster Clubs or individuals can support the effort with
a financial contribution to:

3. Identify areas where there is enough interest to develop an
adult community band or other performance opportunity.
