Wando High School 1560 Mathis Ferry Road Mt. Pleasant, SC

From I-26, Summerville, Orangeburg, etc.:
- Follow I-26 toward Charleston.
- Take I-526 (The Mark Clark Expressway), Exit 212 (I think), toward Mt. Pleasant
- Follow I-526 across both large bridges, across Daniel Island and across both rivers.
- Exit at Longpoint Road. This is the first exit after the second bridge. This exit does not have an exit number.
- Turn left onto Longpoint road and follow it approximately 1.2 miles to the traffic light at Whipple Road.
- Turn right onto Whipple Road.
- Follow Whipple Road 1.3 miles to the end of the road and the traffic light.
- Wando High School is on your left.
- Turn Left at the light.
- Judges parking is the lot in front of the school (first drive to the left).
- Participant parking is the student parking lot (fourth drive on the left).
- Registration is at the Gymnasium.

From points South of Charleston:
There are two ways from this side of town.
The first is by using I-526 around Charleston. This is the recommended route.
- From Hwy 17 (Savannah Highway) take the I-526 ramp toward Columbia, North Charleston and Mt. Pleasant.
- Take the Mt. Pleasant lane at the I-26 interchange.
- Follow the first set of directions above to Wando High School
The second is by driving thru Charleston. If you really want to drive thru town, here are the directions:
- Stay on Hwy 17 into Charleston. Follow the HWY17 signs north. On the Bridge crossing the Ashley River,
stay in the left lanes.
- When approaching the interchange with I-26, stay in the right lane and follow the sign to Mt. Pleasant and
Georgetown. This will put you on the Cooper River Bridges.
- Take the left lane off the bridge (Georgetown) to stay on HWY 17.
- Turn left at the second light (Wendys, Hardees, Captain D's). This will put you on Mathis Ferry Road.
- Stay on Mathis Ferry Road. It is 3 ½ miles to Wando High School.
- The school is on your left at the second traffic signal just past the overpass.
- The judges parking lot is in front of the school; the first drive past the light.
- The participants parking lot is the fourth drive past the light.
- Registration is at the Gymnasium.
