Travelers Rest High School
Golden Invitational
The Travelers Rest High School Golden Invitational will be held again this year at Furman University on October 4th. Furman is one of the finest venues in which to perform and we would love to have you out with us for the day of competition. We had a great competition last year and we anticipating another great one this year. The Furman University Paladin Regiment, under the direction of Mr. Jay Bocook and Dr. Les Hicken, will be performing in exhibition. It will be a wonderful show.

This is the same panel as last year and they did a great job. With our mid-season competition, we plan to generate as many helpful ideas as possible to prepare your band for SCBDA events and the remainder of the season.
We will again have 4 classes and award some of the finest trophies around. We are awarding Italian Lead Crystal Bowls again this year and they are absolutely beautiful. There will be of course 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each class along with Horn Line, Percussion, and Colorguard. There will be Overall Effect and Overall Marching trophies as well.
