to announce the 18th Annual Boiling Springs Festival of Bands
to be held September 20, 2003.
Entry deadline postmark date is September 5, 2003. Order of appearance
is determined by date.
There will be up to Six Classes equalized by horn sizes.

Each Class
First, Second, and Third Place,
Best Horn line, Best Drum line,
Best Band Front, Best Drum Major.
Overall Awards
Superior, Excellent, or Quality
Superior Drum Majors
Best Soloist of the Day
Grand Champion of Class I - III
Grand Champion of Class IV - VI

The Festival of Bands will use the following scoring:
| Music ............... 40% Marching .......... 35%
Overall Effect .... 25% |
- Fifteen-minute intervals will be scheduled for Class I - III bands.
- Twenty-minute intervals will be scheduled for Class IV - VI bands.
- Two optional field judges will be used for comments only.
- Contest Registration fee is $30.
