GENERAL INFORMATION | APPLICATION

Dear Band Director:

You are cordially invited to participate in the Eigthteenth Annual Hartsville Tournament of Bands on Saturday, September 29, 2001 at Kellytown Stadium in Hartsville, South Carolina.

As many of you already know, we strive to host a contest that will provide you with more than just a rating and placement. Our judges will provide you with concrete, constructive criticism that you can put in place, if you desire, during your next rehearsal. This kind of help is what we ALL need early in the marching season.

We will continue to have the door prizes for each band that students really seemed to enjoy last year. Please mark September 29th on your calendar and plan to attend. For the directors that are planning ahead and want to guarantee a late time slot in their class, please return the application ASAP.

Thanks to all of you that helped make our contest a success in the past years. Please keep us in mind when you plan your band calendar. For the bands that have never been to Hartsville, you really need to give us serious consideration. I look forward to hearing for all of you. Please call if you have any questions or concerns.
